Bomb Threat Suspect Told Police He Was Bullied Among Top 2012 Stories

Patch will be counting down the top Greendale stories of 2012 leading up to New Year Day. A male Greendale High School student allegedly wrote a bomb threat to disrupt homecoming activities.

Greendale had its fair share of news coming from Southridge Mall, Downtown Greendale and some crime. We will be counting down the top 10 most read Greendale stories of 2012 leading up to New Years Day.

Number 1:

A 17-year-old male Greendale High School student allegedly wrote a bomb threat in a boys bathroom in September in order to disrupt homecoming activities.

The festivities went on with the dance being relocated to the middle school.

The teen told police he made the threat because he experienced prolonged bullying by peers and was nominated onto the homecoming court as a prank.
