Another Eagle Scout Honored by the Village

April 21, 2012 was proclaimed Robert J. Hintz day for his pariticipation in the Boy Scouts of America Troop 506.

The Village of Greendale proclaimed April 21, 2012 as Robert J. Hintz Day for his participation in the Boy Scouts of America Troop 506. 

Hintz will receive his Eagle Scout rank after 11 years of dedicated participation in a variety of Boy Scouts of America programs and activities.

He has achieved numerous merit badges, including camping, personal management, personal fitness and family life. He attended Summer Camp at Camp Lefeber every year and participated in programs including Snow Husky, Spearhead and Spearhead Extreme and assisted annually with Scouting for Food.

Hintz has demonstrated to be a proven leader through roles within his troop, which include Patrol Leader, Quartermaster, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader and Senior Patrol Leader.

Outside of the Boy Scouts Hintz has participated in a variety of school activities, such as football, track & field and weightlifting. 

"He served his community well as a student athlete and gridiron athlete," said Carl Genz at Tuesday's Village Board meeting. "Also he going to continue to serve his country as a member of the United States Marine Corp."

Hintz will ship out in the Fall.
