U.S. Cellular Aims For Fall Opening On 76th Street

Construction of the new U.S. Cellular store on one of two Walmart outlots across 76th Street from Southridge Mall in Greendale is expected to be completed this fall.

Construction began on the store in May, and while it was initially believed the new location would be ready this summer, a store employee said Thursday that mid-October is the target.

Once construction is complete, U.S. Cellular will move out of its current location at 5096 S. 76th St., or the corner of 76th and Edgerton Avenue in Greenfield.

The 4,500-square-foot store will be much larger than the current one and have much improved parking.
