The Great Escape: Shopping Spree Sunday

During this winter and early spring, the shops of the Historic Village of Greendale open on the third Sunday of every month, which to Patch means two words: Shopping Spree!

This Sunday is this month’s day dedicated to enjoying the many businesses located on Broad Street in downtown Greendale.

The event includes numerous in-store specials available exclusively during the Sunday Shopping Spree. The relaxed atmosphere of the day-long event encourages patrons to waltz through the various businesses and explore the many items offered for personal use, home décor and pet care. After walking around the village’s heart, pop into one of the restaurants for a bite to eat or a cup of coffee.

Whether shopping for a birthday, upcoming wedding shower or indulging your own me-time extravagances, the Sunday Shopping Spree is an ideal day for a group of girl friends or as a solo adventure. With temperatures in the 40s expected, this Sunday’s spree should be a delightful springtime reprieve.
