Restaurant Might Be Moving Into Old Leath Furniture Building

The interested restaurant has not yet been revealed.

A restaurant is looking in moving into the old Leath Furniture Building on 76th Street.

Village Manager Todd Michaels confirmed on Wednesday in a phone interview that a restaurant is interested in the location, but nothing has been signed.

The sewerlines of the building currently connect to Boston Store, but the restaurant representatives and the Village are looking at possibly connecting the seward lines to the City of Greenfield or the , Michaels said.

The Greendale Board of Trustees that Leath Furniture previously occupied from Southridge Mall with the possibility of selling off the property to another buyer.

Right now the buildings that occupied Bally's, Borders and Leath furniture are empty and are all located on 76th Street.
