New Baby Preview Boutique Brings a Familiar Face to Downtown

Former owner of jewelry store Unique Designs will be moving her 3D/4D ultrasound business to the Village Center.

Owner Lorraine Paradinovich will be "coming back home" to the Village Center when she opens Baby Preview 3D & 4D Ultrasound Boutique in June.

Baby Preview services allows expecting parents to see their unborn child in live 4D motion.

Some might remember Paradinovich as the former owner of the jewelry store Unique Designs in the Village Center that closed in 2006.

Paradinovich says she’s moving back to Greendale because it’s quaint and her business has become a destination where she doesn’t need to be in a traffic-congested street. She says she gets clients that come all the way from the East Coast.

Baby Preview's current location in Wauwatosa on North Avenue will close to open the new Greendale location. Paradinovich said that the new location will open June 1 at the old location.

The business will also be a boutique of clothing and accessories. Merchandise will include maternity wear along with popular purses like Harvey Seatbelt.

The website states:

"From a yawn to a stretch, or the beating of your baby's heart, your 4D Ultrasound & 3D Ultrasound will allow you to take a peek at your baby's first movements inside the womb. Imagine being able to see your baby sucking on her thumb. Imagine seeing him wave his little hand at you. Imagine actually being able to see your baby's face!"

Paradinovich says the service not only creates a bonding experience with the mother, but also with the father and other family members.

She says she has seen fathers burst into tears out joy of watching their unborn child in 4D.

"Moms always love to see the baby and it's cool for the dad to see the baby,” Paradinovich said. “As women, we can feel it and the dad kind of misses out on that."
