Nearly two and a half months after Village of Greendale officials and representatives of The Rock Sports Complex and Milwaukee County publicly said they'd hash out their differences, the sides remain at odds.
As reported by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and The Business Journal on Monday, The Rock owner Michael Zimmerman is concerned he'll have to cancel or postpone plans for the complex's ski season because Greendale officials have yet to approve a special use permit to build a trail in the small portion of the complex that is in Greendale.
The majority of the complex is in Franklin, but Greendale residents voiced concerns over the summer about the noise and lighting generated by The Rock's baseball games and other events.
