Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson partnered up with Kohl’s and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin to host a fun, interactive home safety event at Kohl’s – Southridge Mall on Friday.

Kohl’s Cares: The Great Safety Adventure introduced local families to Rover, the Home Safety Hound, and his Safety Rangers as they explored a retrofitted semitrailer designed to represent a 1,200-square-foot home. This tour is dedicated to educating parents and children about the five leading safety risks found inside and outside the home. Kohl’s Cares is funding the effort through a $725,000 donation to Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.
