Former Southridge Mall Game Store Finds Home in Greenfield

The Board Game Barrister opened in the Greenfield Towne Center at 6120 W. Layton Avenue on May 3.

A popular board game store, bumped from Southridge Mall to make way for Victoria’s Secret, has a new home in Greenfield.

The Board Game Barrister opened in the Greenfield Towne Center at 6120 W. Layton Avenue on May 3, about a month after Victoria’s Secret was moved into the game store’s mall space on a temporary basis.

One month into its new lease in a 5,000-square-foot store kitty-corner to Greenfield High School, things are going pretty well.

“We’re not getting the casual mall traffic, people who just stop in because they’re already at the mall,” manager David Rogman said, “but things are picking up.”

The Board Game Barrister sells games, toys and puzzles for people of all ages.

Snacks, sandwiches and beverages are available for game-players.

The Board Game Barrister is open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Thursday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
