Daddy Yo's Frozen Yogurt Opens Its Door Near Southridge

Daddy Yo's, which opened July 25 in the Greenfield Place shopping center, offers 12 different flavors of frozen yogurt.

The much-anticipated Daddy Yo's Frozen Yogurt opened Thursday on the Greenfield Place shopping center just north of Southridge Mall and blocks away from busy 76th Street.

The frozen yogurt shop is modeled after Yo Mama's in Wauwatosa and others like it in that customers build their own treat.

Patch editor David Cotey demonstrated how to make a tasty concoction Monday afternoon. (Please excuse us for the audio difficulties midway through the video).

The cost is 46 cents per ounce.

Owners John and Jen Mosier said they are looking for suggestions as to how to decorate the shop's interior walls, and said in-uniform police, fire and emergency medical personnel receive half off their yogurt.

The shop is open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and noon to 8 p.m. Sunday.
