Argument Leads to Arrest on Black Friday at Southridge

A caller first reported gun shots, but it was actually a trash can that fell over.

One person was arrested for disorderly conduct after a group of people got into an argument on Black Friday at Southridge Mall, according toΒ 620 WTMJ.

A caller reported shots fired but police said the sound was actually a trash can that fell over.

The incident happened at Rue 21 in the upper level near Macy's, according to police reports. Greenfield was called in for mutual aid.

A witness said the store gate was dropped and people ran into a back storage area to get away, according to 620WTMJ.Β
