Emmy Award nominee and Greendale's own celebrity Jane Kaczmarek will have a recurring role on the new NBC show Whitney, according to www.deadline.com.

Whitney, which premieres on September 22, centers around a happily unmarried couple. Kaczmarek will play Whitney's outspoken mom who has been married several times.

Kaczmarek earned 7 consecutive lead comedy actress Emmy nominations for her starring role on Malcolm in the Middle.
