Greendale Student Wins Third in Collaborative Cinema Screenplay Contest
The GHS junior wrote a screenplay about the Milwaukee Youth Orchestra.
Milwaukee Film awarded a Greendale High School student third place for her efforts towards writing a screenplay for a film.
Junior Samantha Kosarzycki wrote Sempre Gusto for the 2011 Collaborative Cinema Screenplay Contest.
Her screenplay revolved around classical music performed by the Milwaukee Youth Symphony, which she is heavily involved in.

“She wrote what I've been describing as a musical ‘documentary’ of sorts that combines animation and live-action,” said Susan S. Kerns, Education Director. “The story, essentially, is how students at the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra all utilize their unique talents to come together and create one piece of music as a group.”
