With 14 days left until opening and just over $5,000 to raise, Greendale native and playwright Jeffrey Ircink is on a mission to introduce you to his six short plays called Hashtag Mayhem.
The plays are set to open at 8 p.m. March 21-23, March 28-30, April 4-6 at Bay View's Alchemist Theater, 2569 S. Kinnickinnic, in Bay View.
Ircink is on a crowd-funding mission to raise a total of $6,000.
"My six short dark plays represent people just like you and me who are in the midst of one of life's "dark" moments. And each handles their situation very differently. You'll laugh. You'll wince. You'll be thankful it's not you. But remember - it's just theater," according to his summary on Indiegogo.com.
