What goes into rounding up 75 historical photos and then replicating them in present times?

On Thursday, Sept. 12, local author, photographer and historian Steve Peters will give a behind the scenes look at the making of Greendale, Wisconsin: Then and Now. His book depicts 75 photos taken in Greendale in the 1930s, such as shots of Village Hall, original homes and downtown shops, paired up with photos taken in the exact same location over the last two years.

Peters will give his presentation at 6:30 p.m. in the lower level of the Greendale Public Library, 5647 Broad Street.
