ο»ΏAs 2010 comes to a close, Greendale Patch wants to know: Who this past year made the biggest difference in your life and why?
We're looking for that neighbor, that friend, that special someone you and others can always count on to do the right thing, lend a helping hand or inspire you.
Send us a maximum of 250-word description of who this person is and why they're special. Shhh! Don't tell them you did it. We will pick the best story and surprise that person with a $25 gift card and a story on Greendale Patch. Runners-up will also be featured on the website with a story.

Nominations should be sent via email with the subject line "Making a Difference" to viviana.buzo@patch.com by Jan. 2nd. Include your name and daytime phone number, their name and your description of how they've made a difference. If possible, include a photo of the person as well.
