Patch Spring Tour: Shopping in the Village Stores

As part of my Spring Tour I shopped on Wednesday.

Most people that know me know that I love shopping. When someone asks me what my hobby is I always answer shopping.

There is no other feeling than walking out of a store with a shopping bag knowing that you made a good purchase. I haven’t really gotten a chance to do some shopping around the village shops.  This week my regional editor/boss gave the opportunity as part of the to do what I do best, talk to people. So I figured why not do two things that I absolutely love, shop and talk.

I started with going into Cherri’s Savor the Flavor. I like to use seasonings with my cooking and I needed a new garlic seasoning. I ended up walking out of the store with garlic seasoning, a bottle of chocolate wine and a mix for sangria. Cherri was so helpful. The fact that the store had samples for everything made me want to buy everything. The wine was delicious.

I walked and realized that I needed to buy a present for my boyfriend for our two-year anniversary that day. I’m not a big fan of chocolate but he is. He can eat chocolate all day. Logically I made my way to Apples of Eden. Like I said I’m not a fan of chocolate but seeing all the pretty chocolate on display made me want to buy everything. It looked scrumptious. So I bought him a cream and cookies apple.

Like any other girl I love buying pretty things, such as clothes and jewelry so I strolled on over to Margo’s Village Boutique. By then I had reached my budget. Lets not forget that I’m a recent college grad so I have those pesky student loans that I’m trying to take care off as soon as possible. I only ended up buying a $12 ring with a flower on it.

Overall my shopping experience was great. I’m starting to notice that my walls are a bit empty. I might go to Seasons of the Heart or to Shoppe Around the Corner next time around.
