Local Photographer Seeks Funding for Greendale History Book

Steve Peters has a "then and now" Greendale photo history book ready to be printed. He just needs some financial backing.

Steve Peters has just about everything he needs to publish and print a 160-page history photo book depicting Greendale’s 75-year history.

He has all the photos he wants: 75 photos of Greendale back then, and 75 of  Greendale now.  He also has the entire book already designed and layed out.

All he needs now is a little financial backing.

Peters, a frequent contributor to Greendale Patch through his weekly “revisited” column, has set up an online fundraiser to raise the $4,800 he says he needs to bound and print 250 soft cover books of Greendale, Wisconsin: Then and Now.

The book depicts 75 photos taken in Greendale in the 1930s, such as shots of Village Hall, original homes and downtown shops, paired up with photos taken in the exact same location over the last two years.
