Klutz of the Week

This week was not a good one. It was as if though a dark cloud was over me this week.

As you may have read in my previous I was fortunate enough to get acquainted with Greendale’s finest and was presented with an $80 speeding ticket on Monday. Great way to start my week.

Then Tuesday comes. I’m not a fan of drinking plain water but I should because it’s good for me. Instead I use Crystal Light.  I pour my red Cherry Crystal Light in my water bottle and set the bottle down on my desk in my home office. I focus on my work for a couple of minutes. Then I shake the bottle. I forgot to put the cap back on and the red water flew everywhere. My hair was soaked. My glasses and face were covered in red water. That’s not the end of it.

My carpet is a very light beige color so there were red drops everywhere. With soaked red hair I quickly tried to clean the carpet so that it didn't settle in. Nothing was working. So I did the most logical thing that came to me, I used bleach. Bad idea. An hour later I was still soaked in the water and my carpet still had red stains and some weird yellowish discolored stains.  Needless to say I won’t be getting my security deposit back.

Wednesday was a quiet day.

Oy, then Thursday comes.  All 19 Wisconsin Patch editors and some folks from Chicago came together for a day-long training at Key Lime Cove resort in Gurnee. Once again I pour red Crystal Light into my water bottle and throw it in my huge purse with my laptop in it.

I get to breakfast and realize that the bottle wasn’t sealed all the way. Luckily I have a case on my laptop, however, the water got all over my cute Coach purse. As I was trying to get the case off my laptop I spill a glass of orange juice all over the table where everyone's  laptops were. Nobody wanted sit next to me after that.  Even the hotel employees were making fun of me.

That was not the end of my spillage for the day. After training we decided to have a fun club day. I order this yummy pretty blue drink. I tend to use a lot of hand gestures as I speak.  What do I do? Yes, I spill the pretty blue drink everywhere. I had only taken a sip.  Everyone was making fun of me.  I was the klutz of the day.

The rest of the week wasn’t so bad. I’ll tell you this much, Friday and Saturday there were drinks spilled around me but not by me.
