Historical Society Receives a $5,000 Grant for Renovation of Hose Tower

This is the second grant they receive from The National Trust for Historic Preservation.

The Greendale Historical Society was awarded a grant from the National Trust for Historic Preservation in the amount of $5,000 to help launch a Capital Fundraising Campaign for the renovation of the Historic Hose Tower in Greendale.

In 2008 a seperate grant of $10,000 was awarded also from the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Those funds were used to create an architectural plan for the Hose Tower.

The Society is working with area community groups and organizations to renovate the Hose Tower into a community gathering place.
