Happenings at the Greendale Public Library in May

The library will have a 'Children's Book Week', green workshop and live clue!

  • The will celebrate Children's Book Week from May 2 to May 8. A Make-it and Take-it table in the Children's Area of the library will be set up during Children's Book Week. Children will have the opportunity to make a "Bumble Bee" bookmarks.
  • Greening Up Your Yard Workshop will be on May 7 from 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Library Community Meeting Room. The event is sponsored by the Root-Pike Watershed Initiative Network in cooperation with the Greendale Department of Public Works.
  • Teens in 7th grade to 12th grade will play Play Live Clue! at the library on May 13 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. They will be traveling from room to room in the library, accusing suspects and solving the mystery of a mock library murder. Sign up is requird at the library reference desk, by email grnd.ref@mcfls.org or by calling (414) 423-2136. Pizza Party also included!
