Greendale Ice Rink Finally Opens

After another unusually warm winter, frigid temperatures this week were just what skaters needed.

The Greendale Parks and Recreation Department has opened its free ice rink Wednesday.

The department made the announcement on its Facebook page Wednesday afternoon.

Several consecutive single-digit days paved the way for the opening, which was delayed by another unseasonably warm winter.
