Cars Needed for Kick Off Event of 75th Anniversary

There will also be a presentation of the "Preserve America" award to Greendale.

Greendale's 75th Anniversary is less than two years away.

The Greendale 75th Anniversary Committee is hosting a celebration kick-off on May 1 with a car show.

Custom cars, classic car and muscle cars are invited to show off their wheels at the Sunday event from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Gazebo Park on Broad Street.

It’s a car show, not a contest. There will be no judging or prizes, just good times with friends. There is no entry fee.

Greendale Police & Fire vehicles will also be on display.

Bring your beauty to the southeast parking lot at the corner of Broad Street and Schoolway.

Other activities will include the presentation of the “Preserve America” award to Greendale.

Winners of the Greendale School’s Art & Essay Contest, “What Greendale Means to Me” will be announced and receive their prizes.
