It's Time for the Badger Band and Laser Light Show

The second day of the 75th anniversary celebration features the Badger Band and a laser light show.

Two of the more anticipated events of the extended Village Days celebration are Thursday.

First up is the Fifth Quarter performance by members of the Badger Band at Gavinski Field at 7:15 p.m.

Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the Greendale Library, Broad Street Coffee and Village Hall.

But it’s more than just the Badger Band on display. Gates at Gavinski Field open at 5 p.m. Luke Eisner DJ & Lighting will provide entertainment until 6:30 p.m., and Bucky Badger will be on hand from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

After a presentation of colors by the Greendale American Legion Post 416, the G Harmony Choir will perform from 6:35-6:45 p.m., followed by a Greendale pom pons performance.

At 7 p.m., Greendale cheerleaders will have their time in the spotlight, followed by the Badger Band, sponsored by Jim and Bonnie Cyganiak and family.

The Greendale Youth Football Team will be selling concessions.

Attendees are then encouraged to march down Broad Street back to the food tents and beer garden.

And just when you think the fun is over, there’s a spectacular laser light show display on Broad Street beginning at 9:30 p.m.

The beams will project their lights from in front of Village Hall southward as far as the crosswalk by Ferch’s Malt Shoppe.

And don't forget you can ride the shuttle from Southridge Mall throughout Village Days (except Sunday).
