Following Greendale celebrity Jane Kaczmarek. She is a seven-time Emmy®-Award nominee and three-time Golden Globe® Awards nominee for her role as Lois, the mother on the FOX television series 'Malcolm in the Middle'. She has won the American Comedy Award and the Television Critics Award two consecutive years, and is the first woman to ever receive this honor. Kaczmarek is currently a recurring character in the new NBC show 'Whitney'.
If your children love Disney Jr., you may just recognize Jane Kaczmarek's voice in Jake in the Never Land of Pirates, according to ETonline.com. Kaczmarek's latest project took her to the sound booth for an episode of the popular Disney channel cartoon, as the adventurous pirate"Red Jessica."  The Greendale native is best known for her role as Lois, the mother on Malcom in the Middle; Kaczmarek made a guest appearance on Law & Order: SVU on Jan. 9, playing an out-of-town district attorney whose confidential informant got caught up in a case that had city ties.
Greendale native Jane Kaczmarek will appear in an upcoming episode of NBC’s Law & Order: SVU. According to tvguide.com: “Kaczmarek will play Pam James, the Suffolk County district attorney who lands the same murder case as DA Barba. However, while James arrests an SVU rape victim for the crime, Barba and the SVU team like a different suspect for the murder. The trials start simultaneously and both prosecutors must fight for a conviction before the other can destroy their case.” The episode is scheduled for January 9 at 8 p.m. CST.

Kaczmarek, an Emmy nominee for her role on Fox’s Malcolm in the Middle, will appear in a Season 4 episode of the ABC comedy The Middle, according to the Hollywood Reporter. She’ll play a career-college teacher who gets off a rocky start with new student Frankie played by Patricia Heaton. Kaczmarek has been a busy bee. Jane Kaczmarek is the voice of a new documentary, "Wisconsin's Nazi Resistance, the Mildred Fish-Harnack Story," according to online sources. The program tells the story of Fish-Harnack's journey from Milwaukee to Nazi Germany and her ensuing struggle against the Nazi regime of Adolf Hitler. OnMilwaukee.com reports that the show first aired earlier this month, and will be replayed on Sunday, November 13 at 2 a.m. and Tuesday, November 15 at 7pm on Milwaukee Public Television's channel 10.

Welcome to Jane Kaczmarek Watch, an occasional look in on one of Greendale's most famous celebrities. Kaczmarek grew up in Greendale and graduated from Greendale High School in 1974. She's well known for her Emmy-nominated role as the mother on popular TV show Malcolm in the Middle. In addition, she has appeared in dozens of television, movie and stage productions. Children's Defense Fund Fundraiser Kaczmarek attended the 20th annual Beat the Odds Awards on Dec. 2. The awards show is hosted by the Children's Defense Fund.
