The Greendale and South Milwaukee wrestling teams met up Jan. 3, for a conference dual meet at South Milwaukee High School.
South Milwaukee came out of the meet on top with a 54-15 win.
Greendale earned the majority of its team points by having a full varsity lineup as South Milwaukee had to forfeit at 106 lbs and 120 lbs.
Greendale senior Sam Walton was the only Panther to win his match at 145 lbs, an 8-4 win over SM sophomore Tanner Dorangrichia.
South Milwaukee had a total of 11 winning matches this night with seven of them ending with a pin.

Why don't you also show the meets where Greendale takes first and second in tournaments? Coach LaPlante has taken this team to a whole new level! If you want a fun story, Greendale along with many other local teams now have incredible girls going to the mat!

This was the only meet which I had attended that Greendale was at.
I too would love to showcase more girls wrestling. It is great to see their interest and ability growing in the sport. My female wrestler is on the injured list so far this season. So hard for her not to be on the mat. Check out the all Girl Wrestling Tournaments in Kenosha.

Hello Conservative in Greendale ... Julie has no real ties to any Patch city, but offered to post her wrestling photos when her son's school South Milwaukee competes against one, and I gladly accepted her offer. And thanks for the tip on the wrestling team.
