Are you one of the people who helped Green Bay Packers wide receiver Donald Driver reach the finals on the popular TV show?
Don’t underestimate this Packers wide receiver's ability. It shouldn’t come as a surprise to Green Bay Packers fans that Donald Driver has the moves. We’ve all seen him wiggle his bum on national TV after a good play. And for the past few months, Packers fans have watched him excel on Dancing With the Stars. Driver needed a miracle to stay alive this week to make it to the show’s finale, wrote the Washington Post. He got that miracle Tuesday night. Is it bad to admit I have yet to see an episode of Dancing With the Stars? I’m not a big TV person and I watch stuff when I get to it. But I’ve seen fans on Donald Driver’s Facebook page cheering him on and talking about voting for him. It makes me curious – what’s your involvement in helping …

Two seniors are hoping to get an upright piano to the Kinshasa Symphonic Orchestra in the Congo after they were inspired by a CBS's 60 Minutes segment.
Greendale High School music director Tom Reifenberg thought a 60 Minutes segment about an orchestra in the Congo would help his students better appreciate their instruments and music room. Little did he know how well his strategy would work. Seniors Gabrielle O’Keefe and Zak Giemza took the lesson to heart. The students are organizing an effort to send an upright piano to the Kinshasa Symphonic Orchestra in the Congo. The orchestra right now only has an electric keyboard piano. The students hope to do this before they go off to college. The two are planning to buy a decent used piano, however, shipping costs will be pricey. The students are estimating it will cost about $3,800 to ship. “This is the last time this group of musicians is …

Greendale Park and Recreation's 12 annual Father/Daughter Dance sported a Hawaiian theme.
There are three meanings for the Hawaiian word aloha: hello, goodbye and love. On Friday, March 31 some lucky girls had a date night with dad, grandpa, uncle, or brother during the Greendale Park and Recreation’s 12th annual Father Daughter Dance. The girls experienced all the meanings of aloha with their dates and were also treated to a special free hula lesson. This year, 22 families signed up, many with two sisters, one for each of dad’s arms. John Gnadt looks forward to this date night with his daughters every year. “We’ve been coming about four years now and it’s just awesome,” Gnadt said. Jim Bohn and his 9-year-old daughter have been coming since the first dance in 2001 and have made a group date night out of this event. “A bunch …

The Greendale Panthers Athletic Booster Club put the "fun" in fundraiser Saturday night during their Casino themed event raising about $12,000.
The Greendale Panthers Athletic Booster Club's Casino Night fundraiser may have been held at Tuckaway Country Club in Franklin this year, but the interior decorations gave no sign that the nearly 116 guests were in neighboring Saber territory. The night raised $12,000 for about 22 athletic sports teams at Greendale High School A large Greendale Panthers banner decorated the front lawn and the entrance was home to a display of green, white and black balloons, decorations and sports equipment. The new location came with a new makeover too. Although the night was still casino themed, committee member, Melissa Bychinski, added more attractions. “It’s still casino focused, but not everyone likes to gamble so we added a band this year and also a…
