Week Ahead: Village Board Candidate Forum
This week also features a screening of the documentary "Bully" at Greendale High School.
Greendale residents can hear directly from candidates for Village Board at a forum this week.
The forum will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday in the Greendale High School multipurpose room. Three candidates – Ronald Barbian, Jason Cyborowski and Carl Genz – are vying for two seats.
The Greendale Chamber of Commerce and League of Women Voters are sponsoring the event.
The forum follows an open format to allow the candidates to answer questions posed by the audience and non-biased questions through a moderator. Each question will be directed to all candidates. All moderation, timing and sorting of questions will be done by the League of Women Voters.
The chamber and League of Women Voters will also sponsor a forum for School Board candidates on March 27.
Also this week is a screening of the documentary "Bully" at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Greendale High School. The event, sponsored by Greendale Against Bullying, will feature an appearance by former Packer Gilbert Brown.

I have seen Ron Barbian about talking to the people. He is doing doors, delivering brochures. Carl Genz has signs up. Do not know the other man. Would like to see more women on the village board of trustees.
The school board incumbents aren't even out there. Their arrogance is something to behold. We won't respond to critics. We are right in our decisions and hiring Tharp. We won't listen to any concerns, even though some of the board has them privately.
Weid Vincent, Kozmonovich, Dalkin and Mevis are out there working.
Slota and McCormick are counting on the power of incumbency and their past records carrying them.
New people are needed on the school board. Not the village board.
