And to think this guy has been a heartbeat away from the presidency for the last 4 yrs.
Let's make sure it's Paul Ryan for the next 4. At least he can count.

@Keith Best During last night's presidential debates for the independent candidates on C-Span there were absolutely no flubs. All 4 candidates presented themselves in a concise manner. It is time for you to consider Gary Johnson again.

Anyone know if the President's new plan is posted online? They've apparently made millions of copies to hand out, but don't think online. A little disappointed since only 2 weeks to election, but better late than never. I hope is fills the blank spot and addresses tax reform and spending reforms (e.g., entitlements).
Although we need to raise revenues to help close DEBT gap, I'd be careful w this shaky economy. Many think"During the Clinton years, we raised taxed yet saw growth". However, some big differences now vs 90s:
(1) We saw a large increase in productivity and growth was spurred in 90s as a result of the Internet boom (and increased use of computers). In fact, such a boom it formed a bubble that popped in 2000 ("Dot Com Crash").
(2) The Republican Congress and Clinton implemented some important reform (e.g., Welfare) which helped the economy by increasing confidence and improving incentives.
(3) We face much much stiffer competition from global competitors.
(4) Higher ratio of entitlement recipients/workers compared to 90s.
(5) Global slowdown vs 90s.
(6) It's new post "credit boom" and the new normal.
In sum, our circumstances today are much different compared to 90s. We need tax reform (simplifying) and overall spending reforms ASAP.

I would assume it's on his campaign website somewhere. Are there still 2-3 ads on this page from his campaign? I have an ad blocker that blocks them. If they are there, click on one of those, wade through the barrage of donation begs and you should be able to find it, I imagine.

Why bother voting with this BS going on?
I guess not allowing the dead to vote is a form of discrimination. Zombies have feelings and rights too, I guess.
We need tax reforms and fiscal reforms. Now. Do your own research. Google "entitlements", "CBO reports" whatever....just get educated.
The middle class will get hammered if we don't solve this crisis.

....Access to eduation and gender equality were key focuses in the pre-rally addresses from State Sen. Jessica King, D-Oshkosh, and U.S. Sen. Herb Kohl.
King, who grew up in foster care with disabled parents, said she would not be where she is today if elected leaders hadn't supported the things that gave her access to education: Pell grants, affordable tuition, veterans' benefits and work-study programs.
"We're talking about electing leaders who support access to opportunity," King said. "I think the decision is clear. This administration ... is committed to making opportunities more affordable, to make sure not only I get to walk through that door of opportunity, but all of you do, too.

Consider these facts before you vote:
1. Is the economy better off now than it was four years ago? Based on the evidence, I'd have to say no. Wages are down, the the prices of everything we buy is up. The price of gas has doubled. Good jobs are scarce.
2. Are the slight "up tics" in the economy a solid trend in the right direction? I don't think so. First, the gains are very slight. Second, I believe they are the result in the temporary stimulus by the Federal Reserve, in which they printed a lot of new money. It provides a slight bump now, but the cost will come later - after the election. Ben Bernanke is trying to save Obama's job, along with his own.
3. The continual misrepresentation of Romney on the auto bailout by the Obama administration. Obama appears to be taking complete credit for the bailout, while simultaneously saying that Romney was for liquidation of the auto industry. This is an absolute falsehood. It was Bush who initiated the bailout and TARP. Obama continued it and then expanded it, to his credit. However, Romney was one of the first to say that the industry needed to go through bankruptcy reorganization, and eventually they did exactly that. He also said that any needed loans should come from the private sector. He never said that the industry should be liquidated, or that he would deny federal funds if he were president, and private sector funds were not available. Obama lies!
4. The Benghazi coverup and lies.

You see, it's easy to run on a slogan, like Obama did in 2008... Hope and change, baby... It's much harder to do once you have a record that can be reviewed... He also said in 2008 that if he didn't get the job done in four years, that it would be a one term deal... Well, he hasn't delivered, so time to let him keep his word... Romney/Ryan 2012

Oh, Oh!! So soon. What will FOX do now?
House Intelligence Committee chair Peter King (R-NY) relayed the following to the press after David Patreaus' briefing to a Committee of Congressmen and women.
Rep. King reluctantly admitted the truth: Petraeus had confirmed that the CIA had approved the talking points used by Rice, tentatively blaming the incident on a notorious anti-Muslim video sparking demonstrations in Cairo and elsewhere at the time. Although Petraeus said he had believed that terrorists were responsible, that suggestion was removed from the talking points in order to protect the ongoing FBI investigation into Benghazi, which Rice also mentioned.
