Three Girls Charged in Bomb Threat at Greendale High School
Three of the five involved in the bomb threat were charged. The bomb threat was discovered on March 12 in a Greendale High School girls’ restroom.
Three girls face juvenile charges for the bomb threat made at Greendale High School in March.
Two girls were charged with conspiracy to commit bomb scare and one was charged with committing a bomb scare, according to Greendale Capt. Ryan Rosenow.
The bomb threat was discovered March 12 in a Greendale High School girls’ restroom. The message was written on a bathroom wall. The note said the bomb would go off at the school later that week.
The girls told investigators they did it because they wanted to get out of school early to enjoy the nice weather.
The entire high school was searched by police using bomb-sniffing dogs before Greendale Police declared it clear. Classes were held the entire week with extra security precautions.
Rosenow said he believes that the Milwaukee County District Attorney was able to prove that three of the five girls played a bigger role.
No further information was immediately available from the District Attorney's Office.

I'm happy to see that they face JUVENILE charges. It does make me wonder why the Franklin boy has been named and charged as an adult. Do you think that it has anything to do with the fact that he is male and they are female? Or is there a considerable age difference between that 17 year old boy & the Greendale girls? Just curious...

In certain cases teens can be charged as an adult at 17, especially if it's a felony. In the Greendale case all the girls must have been under the age of 17.
