Rue 21 in Southridge Mall is in a temporary location while it renovates its old location.
The clothing retail store temporarily moved to the old Gap location on the second level until it renovates a new storefront.
Rue 21's future renovation is one of many other stores that have been renovated in preparation for the completion of the mall's $52 million renovation.

I hope that this and other renovations at Southridge will revive the place and bring back at least a good part of the business it used to have in the past. It was the best mall in the area once; I, my Mom and all three of my sisters worked at Gimbels throughout it's existence and many good stores came and went. Simon appears to be living up to the promise made to renovate and revive. Time will tell.

I'm pretty anxious to see what new stores come into the mall.

How can we have an Apple Store come to Southridge? We have on at Mayfair and Bay Shore but none on the south side of the city.
