John you are a sore loser. What not tell everyone what these acts would cost in jobs and economy.

@Antonio Paladino...John is not misleading, this is a matter of public record. To claim that regulation is costing jobs and pulling down the economy is pure conjecture.

Question: If the EPA enacts the new rules Obama rejected a few weeks back, where up to 20% of all the coal-fired power plants were shut down, impact the economy and jobs?

I think the answer is YES!

Please provide the link substantiating your 20% claim.
It sounds too outlandish to be true.

Question: Do you believe the 731 pages of new regulations enacted in July by the Obama administration will impact the economy and the hiring of people impact the economy? Note: It has been estimated the new rules will cost business $9 billion.

Question: What impact does Obamacare have the economy and the willingness of business to hire people? Obamacare is filled with rules that impact the cost of running a business.

Actually Lyle, it is misleading, but not for the reasons cited by Antonio. The author unfairly presumes that Ryan voted as he did because the author assumes that Ryan hates protecting the environment, as opposed to the multitude of other reasons that possibly exist for the reasoning behind why Ryan voted as he did. A responsible journalist would actually ask Ryan instead of relying upon assumptions - this may be a new concept to you guys on the left, so you may want to make a note of it!

Much of the legislation was bad, poorly written, or just outright stupid - example: H.R. 2401, because we really need another partisan government agency compiling and analyzing (skewing) statistics to suit individual ideological policy initiatives instead of focusing of real and actual FACTS - another notion that may be new to those on the left, so again, you may want to also take note of this.

The author also clearly and expressly discloses his bias up front, while also stating "Votes to violate the Rules of the House (Once Again) to clean up a political mess created by House Republicans" without any explanation, proof, or citation supporting the factual validity of such a statement.

Sorry, but you may want to try again.

Also, don’t you find it funny how those on the left will criticize Ryan for actually voting, the job we elected him to do in the first place, while completely ignoring the fact that Gwen Moore misses more key votes than any other member of Congress – and apparently for no justifiable reason to boot?

Ah, but I guess when you’re a self-declared liberal, not doing your job but still getting paid for not doing it is completely acceptable and par the course – constituents be damned! Silly me, I should have know better. But is this really “what democracy looks like?”

Just because one is a liberal doesn't mean that one supports every liberal politicians actions.
I would hope that the same can be said of the other side of the aisle. But I read too much talk radio conjecture, and mean spirited, non-intellectual tone to believe that of all...

Leaving comments is a waste of time. Everybody these days is entrenched in whatever political camp they have attached themselves to and fairly convinced that everything they say is the most important thing that can be said, and of course they are utterly convinced that they are right (and have all the facts to back that up). No one can be swayed by reason or humor. Here is what applies to the commentors: "My mind is made up, don't confuse me with the facts," and "My party my party, right or wrong, my party." So, leaving comments is a waste of time. Sorry, that's all the time I have to waste....
