Roads Slippery as More Snow Moves Into Area

Drivers should use caution when navigating through Greendale on Tuesday.

Updated 11:45 a.m. Tuesday

The latest winter storm has caused travel conditions in Greendale to deteriorate slightly Wednesday morning.

Village streets and major thoroughfares such as 76th Street and nearby Layton Avenue were slippery as of 10:30 a.m., about 90 minutes after the first measurable snow had fallen.

When it's all said and done, winter storm "Saturn" will have dumped between 3-6 inches of snow on the village.

According our media partners at WISN12, it is expected to snow through Wednesday morning. Wind exceeding 30 MPH could make for hazardous driving conditions.

Greendale Patch will update this story with more travel conditions throughout the day.
