Police: Man Arrested For Fifth OWI

This week's police reports include a 58-year-old West Allis man's fifth drunken driving arrest and a car striking a fire hydrant at Southridge.

 

These incidents are part of the Greendale Police Department's weekly call sheet from Feb. 1-7.

Greendale police arrested a 58-year-old West Allis man for his fifth drunken driving offense following a traffic stop at Loomis Road and Grange Avenue about 9:55 p.m. Feb. 3. He had a preliminary blood-alcohol content of .23.

A 25-year-old Muskego man seen urinating in the parking lot of Speedway, 5490 S. 76th St., was cited for disorderly conduct about 2:45 a.m. Feb. 2.

A 26-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for retail theft at Sears, 5200 S. 76th St., and then taken to the hospital after she had trouble breathing about 1:45 p.m. Feb. 2.

A 26-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for operating after revocation and failing to install an ignition-interlock device at Parkview Road and Westway about 2:25 a.m. Feb. 5.

A vehicle hit a fire hydrant at the northeast entrance of Southridge Mall, 5300 S. 76th St., about 3:05 p.m. Feb. 7. The driver, a 32-year-old Milwaukee man, was taken into custody for a warrant with the Winnebago County Sheriff's Department.
