Police Investigate Pellet Gun Shots at Apartment Building
This week's police reports also include an intoxicated man refusing to leave Southridge and an air conditioner stolen from a driveway.
These incidents are part of the Greendale Police Department's weekly call sheet from Feb. 8-14.
Police were investigating a report of two people shooting a pellet gun in the basement of an apartment complex in the 7500 block of Parkview Road about 10:25 p.m. Feb. 8. A witness told police two males were shooting at cups and felt it was unsafe. Officers attempted contact at one of the apartments and no one answered. Pellets were found in a garbage can.
An air conditioner was stolen from the driveway of a residence in the 8800 block of Greenhill Lane between 8:45 and 9:30 a.m. Feb. 9. The owner said he didn't know who took it and no one saw any suspicious people or vehicles. An extra watch was requested.
A snowblower was taken from a home in the 5700 block of Gladstone Lane between 11 a.m. Feb. 8 and 10:15 a.m. Feb. 9.
A 42-year-old Franklin man was arrested for drunken driving after he was pulled over for speeding at 76th Street and Grange Avenue about 9:30 p.m. Feb. 10. He had a preliminary blood-alcohol content of .15.
Two females, ages 17 and 21, were arrested at Sears, 5200 S. 76th St., following a retail theft about 6:15 p.m. Feb. 11. One woman was arrested for retail theft and drug paraphernalia possession, while the other for interfering and carrying a concealed weapon.
A 46-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he was intoxicated and refusing to leave Southridge Mall about 7:10 p.m. Feb. 13.

According to Patch, it would seem that the count is up to 4.

As a comparison, I added up the totals for the other stores on the list for the same time period:
Kohls had 21 thefts.
Sears had 14.
JC Penney had 10.
H&M had 4.
Macy's had 6.
Boston Store had 3.
