These incidents are part of the call sheet from Greendale Police:

On January 6 at 8:56 a.m., a 42 year-old man called police to report that his ex-wife has been leaving their eight year-old son home alone at a residence on Tower Road every Monday and Tuesday while taking another child to school.

On January 7 at 12:16 p.m., a 69 year-old woman on Seton Place reported to police that she had not seen or heard from her husband in nearly 24 hours, upon which officers entered the man's name into the missing person database. They were subsequently notified by the Vilas County Sherriff's Department that the man had been arrested for OWI-2nd offense involving an accident striking a power pole and that he had been released that morning. It was reported that the man and his son-in-law were on their way to the Milwaukee area.

On January 10 at 3:38 p.m., police took a report of a possible sexual assault of a child on Crocus Court. 

On January 11 at 2 a.m., police stopped a 22 year-old Greendale man in the 5400 block of Moorehead Lane for OWI with a BAC of (.09). The man's truck was towed.

On January 11 at 8:47 p.m., police responded to a 9-1-1 call from a man on Beaver Court that his 65 year-old mother was dead. Medical units responded and found the woman deceased in her bedroom. A sudden death report was filed.

On January 12, at 11:02 a.m. and 11:53 a.m., police received calls from Greendale High School about cell phone thefts.

There were 12 incidents of retail theft:

• Three thefts at Kohls.
• Two thefts at JC Penney.
• One theft at Footlocker.
• One theft at Boston Store.
• Five thefts at Sears.
