Police Blotter: Eight Shop Lifting Cases, Fight Breaks Out at the Mall

DRUNKEN DRIVING
- A 31-year-old woman was arrested for drunken driving with a BAC of .05, defective headlamp and driving without insurance on Saturday at around 2 a.m. on the intersection of South 76th Street and Root River Parkway.
ASSAULT
- A fight broke out in between two girls in front of Wet Seal inside Southridge Mall on Sunday at around 5 p.m. Two suspect girls ran out of the mall. A 20-year-old woman was later arrested for battery and theft at around 8 p.m.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
- A 61-year-old man was urinating outside the doors of Southridge Mall by the Food Court on Tuesday.
- A 20-year-old woman was arrested for disorderly conduct at Finish Line on Tuesday.
- A woman reported that her 35-year-old neighbor yelled through the wall that he was going over with an uzi to kill them all. The man was arrested for disorderly conduct.
DRUGS
- A 19-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman were arrested for possession of marijuana on Monday March 7 at Sears.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
- A Vanity employee reported on Monday March7 that her boyfriend was following her on bus routes and confronted her at the JCPenney layover. The woman said that he had taken her phone earlier and smashed it.
RETAIL THEFT
- Two girls were arrested for theft and possession of tobacco on Monday March 7 at Kohls at around 3 p.m.
- A boy was arrested for theft on Monday March 7 at Spencer at 6 p.m.
- A 20-year-old woman was arrested for theft at Claire’s on Tuesday at around 2 p.m.
- A 27-year-old woman was arrested for theft at Kohls on Tuesday at around 7 p.m.
- A 50-year-old man was arrested for theft at Sears on Thursday at around 3 p.m.
- A 20-year-old woman was arrested for theft at Kohls on Thursday at around 6 p.m.
- A 37-year-old woman was arrested for theft at JCPenney on Thursday at around 10 p.m.
- A 28-year-old man and 20-year-old woman were arrested for theft at Kohls on Friday at around 3 p.m.
