Planning Commission Approves Southridge Boston Store Exterior Plans
The Village Board will review the store's proposed design for the permit application at their next meeting.
The Greendale Planning Commission approved a design for the exterior renovation of Southridge Boston Store.
The Village Board will review the application that requests a permit to renovate both its north and west entrances at the July 17 meeting. The application says the estimated cost for the renovation is $150,000, which would be paid for entirely by BonTon.
Boston Store is undergoing an $8 million interior renovation with the help of a $3 million TIF district from the Village.
This also comes during a $52 million renovation of Southridge Mall, also partially funded through a TIF district.
Macy's, known as one of Boston Store's competitors, opened its brand new store in the mall back in March.
