Southridge Mall announced on their Facebook page that they will begin their renovations this week.
"Excuse our dust, as the mall renovations have begun! The dust curtains are installed and we are currently removing ceiling structures to allow for more natural light in the mall!"
Mall owners, Simon Property Group, are not the only ones who have set their sights on a new fresh look. Kay Jewelers, Lane Bryant, Wet Seal, Vanity and Kohls have already remodeled their stores.
The $52 million dollar mall renovation should be ready by Summer 2012. Macy's should be in place at the old Yonkers space by Spring 2012. H&M should be opening its doors in the lower level by this fall.
