Open Market Stays Open Through the Rain
The Greendale Open Market was open as planned Saturday despite heavy rain in the morning.
Rain may have dampened sales Saturday at the Greendale Open Market, but as the sun came out late in the morning so did a crowd of customers.
"Even with the rain we've had a good crowd," said Jennifer DeLaura of Whitefish Bay who was selling an assortment of all-natural grape seed oils and seasonings.
DeLaura was one of more than a dozen vendors who set up shop in the Greendale Municipal Parking Lot and waited out heavy rains early in the morning to stay open for business for a few hours once the skies cleared.
