Near-Record Hot Temperatures Expected for Thursday
Even thought September is just around the corner, Wisconsin hasn't quite escaped the hit yet. Temperatures are expected in the 90s for Thursday.
Just when cool summer nights offered some proof that the season was ready to transition into chilly fall days — another near record-breaking temperature is expected for Thursday.
The record high for this date in Milwaukee is 96. Greendale is expected to hit 90, according to the National Weather Service.
Humidity levels are expected to be low throughout the afternoon, the weather service said, which lowers the heat's "deadly afftects."
On Friday, Greendale has a high of 87.
