Milwaukee Public TV's Segment on Greendale Airs in April

Back in October crews from Milwaukee Public Television paid a visit to the Village of Greendale to film a segment for a program called Around the Corner with John McGivern.

As part of this fairly new show John McGivern takes us to neighborhoods and towns that make Wisconsin unique.

In each location, the show will give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at both familiar and never-heard-of-before places by talking to and observing people around three themes: living, working and playing there. 

Greendale is one of thirteen locales that will be featured on the program, which is schduled to begin airing on MPTV in January 2012. 

Below is the schedule:

MPTV-HD Channel 10.1 and MPTV Channel 36.2

  • Bay View Jan. 26, 7:30 p.m. (Series Premier)
  • Wauwatosa Feb. 2, 7:30 p.m.
  • Riverwest Feb. 9, 7:30 p.m.
  • Cedarburg Feb. 16, 7:30 p.m.
  • Sheboygan Feb. 23, 7:30 p.m.
  • King Drive March 1, 7:30 p.m.
  • Burlington March 8, 7:30 p.m.
  • Brady Street March 8 at 8:15 p.m.
  • Racine March 22 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Third Ward March 29 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Greendale April 5 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Lincoln village April 12 at 7:30 p.m.
  • East Town April 19 at 7:30 p.m.

Episodes will repeat next day at 8:00pm on MPTV-HD Channel 36.1.
