Update: M&I Bank Vandalized By Masked Suspect with Anti-Walker Graffiti

On Saturday night a bystander saw a person spray painting the side of the building.

Greendale Police are investigating anti-Walker graffiti incident on the side of M&I bank branch at Southridge.

A bystander reported seeing a masked suspect just after 10 p.m. on Saturday spray-painting the building. The bystander said the suspect took off after being seen. The suspect has not yet been apprehended.

Interim Police Chief Bob Malasuk told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel on Monday said words such as "Traitor," and "Unions are Forever," as well as profanity were sprayed painted. The damage was cleaned up.

Several associations announced a boycott against businesses or executives supporting Gov. Scott Walker. M&I Bank was the first company named as part of the boycott.

The bank has said that it will not take a position on Walker's budget repair bill.
