The Milwaukee Wave, the most successful professional sports team in Milwaukee, is fresh off its sixth Major Indoor Soccer League title.
And thanks to Greenfield Patch and PyraMax Bank, you can meet Wave star and fan favorite Marcio Leite, the most valuable player of the 2012 championship series over the Baltimore Blast in March.
Leite will be at PyraMax Bank's Greenfield Branch, 7001 W. Edgerton Ave., from 2-4 p.m. Friday, May 18, posing for photos, signing autographs and talking soccer with fans and bank customers.
Leite, a 27-year-old midfielder/forward, has played professionally for 10 years and just completed his sixth year with the Wave.
Leite's appearance is part of Greenfield Patch's designation as PyraMax Bank's business of the month. Other appearances include Greenfield Mayor Michael Neitzke from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 23, and former Major League Baseball player and Milwaukee Brewers coach Davey Nelson, a member of the Brewers FS Wisconsin broadcast team, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 29.
