It's Official ... Longhorn Steakhouse Coming to Southridge Area
Southridge Mall Manager Mary Mokwa said Longhorn Steakhouse restaurant will be occupying the old Leath Furniture building on 76th street.
Longhorn Steakhouse is coming to Southridge Mall.
Mall Manager Mary Mokwa said Thursday that the lease has been signed, and that the restaurant will occupy part of the old Leath Furniture building. Longhorn Steakhouse is a 30 year old chain of restaurants that serve steaks, chicken and fish in a "atmosphere reminiscent of a Western rancher's home."
The steakhouse will be built next to a future Panda Express. The Greendale Village Board approved the Panda Express at a portion of the old Leath furniture building on April 17.
The old Leath building is undergoing demolition. The building, located on the northwest corner of Southridge Mall, was vacant for several years. Before Leath Furniture was in the building, Sears Home Life occupied it.
Longhorn Steakhouse will be reviewed soon by the Village of Greendale and mostly likely be sent to the Planning Commission.
