Welcome back, Patch Blogger!

Be A Local Voice on Patch

Patch's Local Voices platform gives you a place to share your thoughts with neighbors. Join the conversation!

Patch is looking for people to join our throng of Local Voices. We want people who can riff on a variety of topics, share their personality and engage the community in discussions.

Patch is more than a news site, it's an online conversation about your community. And we want to hear your voice.

I you are any of the following, who is looking for a platform and forum to reach the community:

  • Are you passionate about local issues?
  • Do you want to share your newest recipes?
  • Are you an expert craftsman or hobbyist who can share do-it-yourself tips?
  • Are you a student who wants to share your college experiences with your hometown?
  • Can you just make us all laugh?
  • Do you love taking photos around town?

Then, we want to hear from you.

This isn't a reporting job. It's blogging. You write what you want to say when you want to say it. Do it on your schedule, whether that's posting multiple entries per day or a couple times a month.

Patch won't own what you post, so you can repost your entries to your other blogs. Much like The Huffington Post has done, Patch is providing local bloggers an online platform to have their words seen by a larger audience.

Get Started

If you'd like to chat about the opportunity to share your voice with our readers, email Community Editor Sarah Worthman, or give her a call at 414-412-5561.

I'd love to talk about Lower Southhampton, but alas - I live in Wauwatosa. Which is the Patch I read.

Where is Lower Southampton WI? I think this as meant for the Brookfield Patch in Mass.

I'm guessing Sarah forgot to edit the local references in the original before she reposted it here.
