October seems so far away, yet so close.

Halloween Express is known for temporarily leasing empty buildings. From the looks of it the Borders building on 76th Street will be housing Halloween Express this season.

This year Borders announced that it close all of its stores. Another Halloween Express in New Hampshire is also using an empty Borders building.

A couple of years ago Halloween Express also used the old empty Circut City building in Greenfield. In other years Halloween stores have been set up at the old Leath Furniture bulding and the old Yonkers space in Southridge Mall.

Halloween Express is also filling the vacant Blockbuster on Highway 100 in West Allis, while owner John Majdoch hopes to convert his Halloween Express story on 27th Street in Greenfield into an entertainment center with go-karts and laser tag.
