Greendale Students Jump For Healthy Hearts

A number of students from Canterbury Elementary got their jump on for a healthy cause with Jump Rope For Heart and raised a ton of money.

Canterbury participated in Jump Rope for Heart last week in Physical Education classes. Jump Rope for Heart is a fund-raiser with 100% of the proceeds going to the American Heart Association. Students in grades K-5 jumped rope in class with the hope that it will empower them to improve their own health while at the same time help kids with heart-related issues. Greendale School District

Students from Canterbury Elementary raised $4,202.48 for Jump Rope For Heart this year. According to school officials, this surpassed their goal of $4,000 and is a record for Canterbury.
