Greendale Police Holding Concealed Carry Class

The one day class will be held five times at the Greendale Police Department.

The Greendale Police Department will be offering a Concealed Carry class at the , located at 5911 W. Grange Ave., and taught by instructors who are state certified to instruct both law enforcement and civilian personnel.

This curriculum was developed by the State of Wisconsin Department of Justice and meets all the requirements set forth by the new concealed carry law.

The one-day class will be held on the following dates from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.:

Saturday, November 12
Sunday, November 13
Saturday, November 26
Saturday, December 10
Saturday, December 17

Classes are limited to 15 people, filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional classes may be added if necessary.

The fee for this one-day class is $100 for residents and $150 for non-residents.
There is an option to fire your handgun at the conclusion of the class at the department range. If you choose to do this, you must bring 1 box of ammunition in addition to your handgun.

Required items for class:

  • Encased and unloaded handgun
  • ammunition 
  • safety glasses (for shooters only)
  • photo ID in the form of Wisconsin ID or driver’s license
  • required fee for the class
  • pen, pencil and notepad
