This is very depressing to see, I like to think Milwaukee is a safe and kind place but I have to remember how dangerous it can be.

Nuitari,
Just a thought - this is someone's son, brother, boyfriend, friend. It's important to remember that they are going through a family's worst nightmare. I lost three young friends in the past 7 months. I am just thankful the families that lost their children to car accidents and to cancer didn't have to see a comment that leaves no hope.

Sorry, I should but tend not to have much sympathy when it involves a night at the bar, especially downtown or up in Eau Claire. Too bad of a track record with alcohol and bodies of water nearby. Let's hope I'm wrong.

google smiley face serial killer...there is a history of young men going missing in the midwest and ending up found in a river or lake. I hope this isn't the case but this is the first thing I thought of. And yes, this did happen last year.

For those of you who are being negative, how would you like it to be one of your family members. No matter what the situation is, it is sad and we should be praying for him and his family.Like many of us,at some time in our lives have been drunk and stupid, were just lucky we came out of it safe!!! My prayers are with him and his family.

Steve, please note that this has nothing to do with politics. It has everything to do with human beings respecting and supporting one another. I pray that the family, girlfriend, and friends find him alive and well. I pray for their strength in the most horrible of times.

I just dont understand how a girlfriend just leaves her bf get kicked out of the bar and not check to see if hes okay until 4am. That speaks volumes on how she really cared about him, especially his friends. My prays to his family. I really hope they find him safe and sound.

Kiii, there are certain things that can happen within a night of drinking, clearly she didn't know this would happen so don't sit here and put blame on her. How dare you. Do you not think she feels terrible already?! People like you really piss me off to even question how much she cares about him.

Kiki, I agree. I cannot even fathom what would possess someone to let their partner/friend be kicked out of a bar and not go with them!

Katie and Kii, this is not a time to pass judgement! Very easy and ignorant thing to say. You two must be perfect in all aspects of life. I'm sure the victims girlfriend is struggling every second of every day, although she did NOTHING wrong. I hope that something is solved and the true story comes out. This happens too often and needs to end!

Katie isn't passing judgement--i agree with what she says. but you are correct as well, Ben (and hypocritical as well, considering that you passed judgement on katie and kii, calling them ignorant and belittling their words). God Bless this missing man and his family. :(
